CLASS SCHEDULE - FRANKLIN

Join us and learn all about cheese and pairings!  Make it a fun girl's night or date night or just come to nerd out on cheese and make new friends.  Classes are held at our store in The Factory on Thursdays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM or Sundays from 3:30 - 5:30 PM.  We do offer a few classes/events on other days. Limited spots (12 - 20 participants).
 
Doors open at the scheduled class time and instruction time begins promptly 15 minutes after.  At the end of each class you have time to shop our retail shelves or purchase some of the cheeses or retail products  you enjoyed during classFall workshops on sale now.

​AUG 14  (THURSDAY) - Award Winning US Cheeses - $45 per person

Get ready to go for the gold… in cheese! Join us for a deliciously daring deep-dive into the winners of the American Cheese Society competition — aka the National Cheese Olympics. Each year, cheeses from across North America go head-to-head (or rind to rind) in this prestigious dairy showdown. 

In this class, we’ll taste our way through some of the top medalists.  We'll dish out stories behind the winners, explore what makes a cheese a champion, and give you the tools to taste like a judge. Expect cheesy trivia, bold bites, and plenty of laughs.

SEP 18 (THURSDAY) - “Ballin' on a Budget” – A Boxed Wine & Cheese Adventure - $37 per person

Boxed wine and cheese pairings for parents recovering from supply list sticker shock.

Who says great pairings have to break the bank?   

In this lighthearted, budget-friendly tasting, we’ll pair surprisingly delicious boxed wines with an array of crowd-pleasing cheeses. You’ll learn how to match flavors like a pro, discover the best hidden gems in the boxed wine aisle, and taste how affordable doesn’t mean boring. Perfect for weeknight entertaining, casual get-togethers, or just treating yourself without the fuss.

Bring your curiosity (and maybe your skeptical friend) — you might just leave a boxed wine believer.

OCT 26 (SUNDAY) - Cheese & Chocolate - A Spooky Indulgence - $45 per person

Our most popular class returns—just in time for Halloween.
Two of life’s most irresistible pleasures—artisan cheese and decadent chocolate come together in a tasting experience that’s pure magic. We will lead you through incredible pairings that play with texture, salt, sweetness, and a touch of the unexpected -- combinations you’ll dream about long after the last bite.
Dress in costume (optional, but encouraged), sip on something festive, and savor this deliciously immersive evening. But beware—once you’ve experienced cheese and chocolate together, you might never look at them the same way again.  Seats vanish faster than a ghost at midnight—book yours before they disappear.

OCT 30 (THURSDAY) - A Nightmare on Cheese Street - $70 per person

Wine & Cheese Pairings based on Horror Movies

Enter... if you dare.  This Halloween, we’re taking you beyond the veil of your typical wine and cheese tasting and into something far more sinister — and delicious. A Nightmare on Cheese Street is a spine-tingling sensory experience where each wine and cheese pairing is artfully matched with an iconic horror film.

 

Expect bold reds, haunting whites, and cheeses that ooze, crumble, or surprise — all carefully chosen to reflect the film’s mood, theme, or twisted plot line. Whether it’s psychological terror, supernatural thrills, or campy slashers, we’ve got a pairing that screams.  Six horror films. Six cheeses. Three wines.  This class is ideal for horror buffs, wine lovers with a dark side, or anyone who believes a little fear pairs beautifully with funk and fermentation. Costumes encouraged. Fearless palates required.  THU 6 - 8 pm  for ages 21+

NOV 16 (SUNDAY) & NOV 20  (THURSDAY)  - Wines & Cheeses for the Holiday Table - $70 per person

A Seasonal Tasting of 6 Cheeses + 3 Perfectly Paired Wines

Looking to impress this Thanksgiving? Whether you're hosting the feast or bringing the good stuff to someone else's table, this tasting class will give you the delicious edge.

​Join us for a cozy, flavor-filled evening exploring 6 cheeses that shine on a holiday spread — from crowd-pleasing classics to conversation-starting favorites — each thoughtfully paired with 3 versatile wines that complement the entire meal, from starters to pie.  We’ll talk pairing strategy, seasonal flavors, and how to build a cheese board that steals the show.  Expect to taste. Learn. Laugh. And leave inspired.

DEC 4 and 11 (THURSDAY) - A Sparkle Holiday - Cheese & Bubbles - $70 per person

A Pop, Fizz, Merry Cheesemas!
Celebrate the season with a sparkling twist as cheese meets its effervescent holiday match. We’ll pair decadent cheeses with the best in festive bubbles — from crisp and bright to rich and toasty. Learn why this duo is a match made in tasting heaven, and discover how bubbles lift, cut, and cuddle all the right curds.
Expect plenty of pop culture (literally), cheesy puns, and unforgettable pairings wrapped in holiday cheer. 
Raise a glass (or three) to good taste, good company, and the magic of the season.Enjoy 6 (six) cheeses plus 3 (three) glasses of our favorite holiday bubbles

DEC 14 (SUNDAY) - The Naughty & Nice Cheese List- $45 per person

A Playful Holiday Wine & Cheese Showdown

This holiday season, we are putting cheese to the test: who’s been naughty and who’s been nice?

Join us for a festive, flavor-packed class where the tasting table is split down the middle. On one side: bold, funky, raw-milk rebels—washed-rind wonders that bring the attitude. On the other: sweet, creamy, delicate darlings that play oh-so-nice.  You’ll taste both sides. You’ll cast your vote.
And by the end?  You’ll know exactly where your taste buds stand.

IMPORTANT:  Please read below for ALL our classes. 

When purchasing tickets you agree to the below:

CANCELLATION POLICY:  All sales are final and non-refundable. We are unable to transfer class tickets to another date. If you are not able to attend, your ticket may be transferred to someone else, who must use your name when they arrive to check-in. 

We now also offer an optional alternative to protect your tickets via Purchase Protection from TicketSpice.

SEATING GUARANTEES:  We assign seats prior to your event.  Please notify us in advance if you wish to sit with guests who are purchasing tickets separately.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much do workshops cost?

Cost varies by workshop depending on the number of cheeses, wines or type of experience.  Cost is $45 - $85.

 

Where do I buy tickets?

You can buy tickets online.  All workshops are announced a few weeks prior to the event via our newsletter and social media. 

 

Can I transfer my ticket from one class to another?

We are not able to transfer tickets to another class.

 

I am unable to attend the class I signed up for

All sales are final and non-refundable.  If you are not able to attend, your ticket can be transferred to someone else who must use your name to check into class.  We are now providing the option to add Purchase Protection for a small fee and get a 100% refund of your registration purchase should you be prevented from attending due to a qualifying unforeseen circumstance.  This is service is offered directly by TicketSpice.

 

Is there a wait list for workshops?

Yes! Since our classes sell out quickly, we often have a wait list.  Please send us an email to info@greyscheese.com and we will add you to the wait list.  You will be notified via email if there are openings due to cancellations.  These will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
